The Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Houston Galveston trains the next generation of health professionals to serve and empower vulnerable people, building healthier communities through hands-on, community-based projects.
Our Home
The Fellowship is proud of our long-standing relationship with UTHealth, our academic home. Being housed within the Department of Management, Policy & Community Health (MPACH) at the UTHealth School of Public Health allows us to align with the school’s mission and benefit from its state-wide reach. UTHealth anchors us in the Texas Medical Center, providing not only essential administrative resources – such as human resources and professional development for staff – but also thought partnership that strengthens our work. Our Fellows contribute by underscoring UTHealth’s commitment to improving community well-being.
